Join us for a short, informal session, designed to support smaller firms, regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) who may be time-pressed and in need of clear, practical tips on what regulations entails.
These pre- and post-work events are a chance to meet our teams, ask questions, and tell us about the challenges you face – over canapes or pastries.
You’ll gain insights that will help you get things right first time, saving valuable time spent liaising with us later on.
We’ll cover:
- Using FCA systems
- Submitting data through Regulatory Returns
- How the Consumer Duty applies to your firm
- What to expect from supervision
- How we’re making it easier for small firms to engage with us — from clearer expectations to more proportionate, streamlined processes

Who should attend?
This event is for FCA-regulated firms, in particular:
- Small retailers or service providers that offer credit to their customers as credit brokers or retail finance providers (for example: dentists, sports clubs, home improvement firms)
- Firms that do not already have support with compliance, such as through membership of financial trade bodies (for example: UK Finance or the Finance and Leasing Association)
- We ran a session in the East & West Midlands in March; this is the second event, and we intend to host further events across the UK in due course.
